Are you interested in providing fresh content for your website? We have a multitude of options available.
Websites & Blogs:
Do a quick search on Populate.NET and select the articles of interest. At the bottom of each article is the HTML CODE for the article. Take the HTML CODE and post it on your website, as appropriate. Please be sure to keep the author information in tact, as that is required by the authors in exchange for providing the free article.
Autoposting:
Populate.NET has implemented a unique feature to allow your website to have fresh content, automatically. Our RSS feeds provide full article content. This allows you to use an automated importer such as WP-O-MATIC to automatically import into your blog new articles every day. Rather then import all types of articles, we suggest you select niche topics related to your blog. Please refer to the WP-O-MATIC software (or whatever software you choose to use) on how to install and configure, then use the following information as the feeds:
For specific topics, select the topic then select the RSS icon next to the topic of choice. For instance, for Photography related articles, drill down to Hobbies, then Photography, then click on the orange icon next to the topic. It will bring up the RSS URL, such as http://populate.net/feeds.php?cat=137 . This will, by default, bring up the last 10 articles. If you'd like 5 articles, you'd change the feed to: http://populate.net/feeds.php?cat=137&num=5 (changing the num= parameter to the amount of articles you want). We suggest you keep this small, as we've noticed that there are times where a lot of similar articles show up within the same few days with similar content. An example of this is method is used on hostsite.org as well as DomainMage.com.
If you're interested only in articles with a specific keyword in the title, use the following: http://populate.net/feeds.php?title=phishing, phishing is an example title, use whatever you like. This technique is used on our sister blog sites Phishers.com and Mens.org for their article feeds. You can also add the 'num=' as in the above to limit your articles.
Other rss items that work:
http://populate.net/feeds.php?text=whateveryouwant where 'whateveryouwant' is actual text in the articles. This is rarely useful for generic keywords as you'll get a lot of mis-hits. However, if you are looking for articles with specific branded names, this may be handy. For instance, you might want this if you want to search for all topics relating to companies, people, etc. where the name may only appear in the article content as is not a universal term. The num= works here, as well.
This should get you started.
