Well the time has come again for a new bond film to hit our screens. Daniel Craig takes his role as Mr Bond in the latest movie named Quantum of Solace. After outstanding reviews from the first film Casino Royale, can Daniel Craig meet and exceed the expectations that he is facing?

The preceding film before Daniel Craig got cast as 007 was Pierce Brosnan's Die Another Day, in all honestly Brosnan set the dying franchise back to light and delivered some exceptional movies. But as times progresses so must movies, we have seen a darker side to movies as of late, being hugely successful such as the latest Batman movie The Dark Knight. Therefore I believe that was the foremost reason why we have seen a hugely successful bond in Pierce Brosnan replaced.

Daniel Craig's first outing made us see a new darker and moodier side of the character, which ultimately opened the door to a whole new audience and I can assure you that this new outing delivers much more. The violence in the new flick is pushed up to a new level.

The movie starts itself with an awesome car race which was last probably seen in the Bourne Ultimatum and Italian Job movies. You can really see the efforts not only from the producers for making the film, but also from the actors for putting in some very daring stunts. You will be surprised to hear that at least three of the characters have suffered major injuries; with Daniel Craig himself needing eight stitches to his face and also having his finger sliced.
The movie itself is one of the first James Bond sequels to be made, it continues from Casino Royale where Mr Bond is after revenge for the death of his lover Vesper Lynd. But on his route to seek revenge he uncovers a threat in the form of crime organization Quantum. The death toll in the movie does stack up quite a lot, as in one reference M states, "Bond, if you could avoid killing every lead there is, that would be appreciated.". He then gets his licence revoked for not complying.

All in all the film is a must watch and it will probably end up being one of the best action movies that you have watched in a while. This film strips out all of the gimmicks and gadgets and even pulls out the tagline "The names bond, James Bond", but if you are a 21st century movie fan than this is a heck of a movie that cannot be missed.

How to Avoid the Dreaded Website Mistakes

As the internet grows more start-up companies find there way online, to compete with the best you have to ideally make yourself the best, right down from your content to your design everything must be done in a unique and specific way. We will now take a look at a few factors which you should make sure that you get perfect and a few factors which you should try to avoid.

First and foremost the web is an open world and users love to surf through pages and pages to find what they want. It's a bit like reading a newspaper; if a story does not catch the reader's attention then they will just turn over to the next page. The internet is exactly the same, but probably that little bit more difficult, as internet users tend to be a lot fussier. So research has shown that you probably have around 5 seconds at the maximum to grab the user's attention, and keep them locked onto that specific page or site.

A good way to do this is via images and content, the biggest sites on the internet are probably the news sites such as CNN and BBC, and the reason they are so popular is because of constant updated content. The internet was created to share information with people all over the world, and although the net it growing at tremendous speeds, the core value will never change. People, sites and search engines love content. The more you give them the happier they will be.

So taking all of this into account, if you are trying to sell a product and just have an image with no information, no testimonials and in fact no reason for people to even spend there time looking at it, then you will not be as successful as you want. Pulling users in is the key, and you can do this in various ways, initially you could have an eye catching advert that will grab the user's attention and then keep them interested by giving them useful copy, which will make it hard for them to walk away from a potential purchase.

Finally what I see a lot and one of the biggest mistakes that new sites make, is that they try to over load a page with too much. Too many images, too much technology and potentially too much text. Although all of these can be very helpful, if you overdo it will make the site very off-putting to users and search spiders.

Halloween is a great time of the year when families and friends get together, everyone is happy. But Halloween is not only for treats, there are a variety of tricks that can be performed on the day. Although nowadays a lot of people do harmful and terrible tricks such as throwing eggs, this is very wrong to do. Tricks should only be for fun purposes and not to cause harm to people, so keeping that in mind there are a few traditional tricks which you may want to do to give people a freight!

First and foremost you may want to freak people out; there are a few things which you can do to do this. First is by knocking on there door and placing some sweets or candy into there bowl or hand and then walking away, this is bound to spook people out.

Next you could try to dress up as someone scary, but not traditional scary as people know what to expect. A great example is to just mess up your hair a bit and wear a wide hospital gown. You should then get some fake blood which you can buy from stores and place some of this over the gown, you should also get some white foundation and some black eyeliner to make you look a bit tired. Once you are ready you should then knock on someone's door and walk around there lawn in a daze saying things like "I'm not crazy, I will show them all" and just keep on repeating this again and again, you will definitely give people a scare.

If you are not going trick or treating yourself and would just like to stay in the comfort of your home you can very much scare the trick or treater's. Basically before the night begins you should fill your front porch full of toilet paper. Then when trick or treater's knock at the door you should blame them and pretend to start getting very angry. They will be in a shock and you will know the truth, it should be hilarious.

Halloween is a great time but just make sure that you do not take your tricks to an extreme level, as it could potentially ruin the whole event. Take things slowly, throwing eggs is not fun. If you think of your tricks a little more in depth I am sure that you will have a much better time.

The credit crunch and current financial situation has caused a lot of companies to re evaluate there staff. This decision has seen a lot of businesses offloading staff, simply because they can not afford to keep them. If this has occurred to you then you may be reeling with anger and potentially blaming yourself, but what you should not do is rush into anything rash, as you could be making a big mistake. We will now take a look at a few tips on which you can potentially use to help you get back into work.

Primarily the most important thing is not to rush into a full blown job search straight away. You should carefully assess what you want to do next, as if you rush into work you could potentially make your self very unhappy. I have constantly seen people take jobs that they really do not enjoy doing. An important fact to remember is not only you will suffer, but you will probably end up making your employer suffer as they will want someone with dedication to the role.

A major fact that you should also remember is that you should not burn any bridges with friends in your previous employment. A lot of people tend to rant and rave about the company that layed them off, but this could in fact have a detrimental effect on you, as people may not want to employ you because of your rants.

One of the more major aspects to remember is when you find a job you must correctly prepare yourself for an interview. Think of it this way, if you have been working for a company for 5 years or so you will definitely be in experienced of how to present yourself in a job interview, times change and so do interview techniques so you have to brush up on your skills. Plus if you have been laid off you also have to make sure that you are emotionally ready to approach an interview.

Remember to brace yourself when you have been off loaded, there's no need to rush into anything you may regret in the future, if you are struggling to pay the bills there are people around to help you out such as the job centre. You can book in a consultation and they will be delighted to discuss your future with you and help get you a placement in your dream role.

We have all watched the X Factor and this year is turning out to be one of the best shows to date. Not only do we have a new judge in Cheryl Cole, but the contestants are all of very high quality and calibre. The last time we saw great singers on the show was when Leona Lewis hit our screens and her debut single smashed the records by selling half a million copies in its first week.

This year the final 12 acts on the X Factor recorded a single called Hero for the wounded service men and women at The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal, which in fact is a cover of Mariah Carey's hugely successful hit. The contestants also sang the single on the X Factor show and it was an awesome overall performance.

The single is set to knock female judge Cheryl Cole and the rest of the Girls Aloud band off of the top spot, but not only that it is set to triumph over Leona Lewis's success and become the fastest selling single in a decade. The single sold over 100,000 copies in its first two days, the only slight scare with the single is the growing demand putting pressure on the manufacturers to keep up with the pace. The single is selling more than most Christmas numbers ones would and stores such as HMV have placed an urgent order for more copies.

On the X Factor we saw Scott Bruton become the third act to be voted off of the show, he had to compete against fellow contestant Daniel Evans, after both singers picked up fewest votes from the public. This coming week sees the contestants singing Disco themed songs, and this series of X Factor has just gotten bigger and better, with huge voices from contestants such as Alexandra, Laura White and Austin. Besides from that all the contestants have unique tones and with a star studded line up of celebrities making appearances such as winner Leona Lewis, Will Young and Mariah Carey we are set for a great treat.

Meanwhile in other X Factor news judge Simon Cowell has vowed to bring back the axed music chart Christmas show top of the pops. As stated in The Sun, Mr Cowell would like to make an offer to keep the show alive as he does not want to see a great tradition come to an end. Stating "It's like not having Christmas Pudding".

Why Are Old Games So Much Better Than New Ones?

Games consoles have been around for plenty of years and most people have grew up with them in there lives, but are games these days becoming a lot more serious and stressful than they used to be? Games are meant to be played to have some fun not to get you wound up and stressed.

There are a few examples of some games that we will now take a look at which are still around on the current generation of games consoles, but are just not as fun as they used to be.

Championship Manager 96/97
Well what can you say about this game, besides from the fact that it is one of the best managerial games that I have ever played. Strip out all the graphics from a game and switch it to a text based version and you on to a sure fire winner. Basically this title consisted of you starting off as a manager and choosing a club, you had to then build up your team via the transfer market and eventually win all cups and leagues (We all remember the cup winners cup!). Although the matches were all set out in a textual format I feel this was much better as it also brushed you up on your reading skill.

Donkey Kong Country
Yet again the first Donkey Kong game to be released on the SNES was an absolute hit, it actually became the 3rd most successful game on the console and you can definitely tell why. Forget about graphics and the rest. I don't really want to walk around in a 3D world when you can have so much fun playing 2D. The game had a great storyline and the levels were awesome to say the least.

Sonic and Mario
Just as Donkey Kong, Sonic and Mario were absolute legends; whenever there games were released people were cueing up at the door. The games were also based on side scrolling platforms and although the current Sonic and Mario games are still adventurous to play, there is no way that they will match they heyday when they were selling around 20 million copies.

It just goes to show that although technology advances, I think game titles should slow down as people have enough worries in there life with stressful job and finances. The last thing people want to do is come home to sit on there games console and load them selves up with even more stress.
