Would you like to have a never-ending supply of writing jobs with a constant flow of money into your bank account? This is both possible and easy with your own writer’s Web site.

Nowadays, writing is instant publishing, and instant payment too - you can write, and be paid for your writing as soon as you send an invoice.

Let’s look at how you can make money with your writer’s Web site.

You can make money by:

1. Selling content - endless possibilities

Although there seems to be unlimited free information online, I’m sure you know that if you want specific useful information right now, you won’t find that information on free sites.

Valuable information is commercial information. Therefore, although you will want to publishing some free information on your blog, as advertising, you’ll charge for valuable information. People who truly want that information, right now, will be happy to pay for it.

For example, let’s say you’re a keen photographer. You can offer some free information on your site, but if you want to share information on how to take better photographs, or how to sell stock photography, you can sell that information in the form of an ebook, or even of a paid membership.

2. Selling writing services - your skills are in high demand

You can showcase your writing skills on your writer’s Web site. Add a portfolio of your writing, so that buyers know what to expect when they hire you.

If you specialize in a particular service - you write Web articles perhaps, or press releases, you can add "Buy Now" buttons to your site so that buyers can buy from you instantly, 24 x 7 x 365.

3. Selling advertising - monetize your Web site with advertising

Think of your Web site as a magazine. Magazines sell advertising to support their existence, and so can you. Every page of your Web sites offers advertising opportunities.

When your site has developed a regular readership, advertisers will come to you, asking to advertise on your site for a month, six months, or a year. This is money for jam: no additional work (aside from placing the ads) is necessary for you.

4. Selling products on commission (affiliate sales) - sell and share in the profits

Affiliate marketing is hot online. This simply involves selling goods and services on commission. Affiliate sales can add to your Web site’s income stream painlessly. Write a few product reviews, with your affiliate links embedded, and again you’ll make an income 24 x 7 x 365.

5. Selling your books and articles (direct editors to your Web site) - bend traditional publishing to your will

With traditional publishing (newspapers, magazines and books), the power is out of your hands. You can write proposals, but whether your proposal is accepted depends on many things, all of them out of your control.

You can use your Web site to promote books you’re writing and bypass to an extent the traditional publishing process. Editors and agents are always looking for the next big publishing thing, and many bloggers have parlayed a blog into a publishing contract.

Similarly, you can use your site to present yourself as an expert in a topic, so that magazine editors approach you to write for them.

There are many other ways in which you can make money with your writer’s Web site. I hope this article has started you thinking.
