These personalities are the ones who have served to be very influential people who leaves marks on their fans and other as well. There are many sports that provided fame for different athletes in the country. There are also those who just display superb greatness and continue to display greatness.

He was one if not the best boxers that the Philippines or even Asia has ever produced. His greatness encompasses many boxers of today. His influence on Filipino serves to be crucial because he is the complete protege or icon that a Filipino boxer tries to imitate. His greatness is simply on a world of its own.

2) Carlos 'Caloy', 'the Big Difference' Loyzaga

One of the all-time basketball greats of Asia. He is one of the reasons why basketball has become such a very popular and very embraced sport in the Philippines. He brought glory to the Philippines by competing internationally and leading the Philippines to medals after medals. He became one of the most unstoppable forces in the history of Asian basketball. His success helped the country start its unending passion for basketball. Being 'the Big Difference', his name definitely speaks for himself. He has been the key for the Philippine National team to conquer tournaments after tournaments. He also has two sons who played in the professional league in the Philippines. He also became a coach of the Philippine National Team after his retirement. Such was Caloy Loyzaga's influence in Philippine Basketball that he is still honored until today.

3) Robert Jaworski a.k.a 'Jawo'

This former Toyota and Ginebra stalwart upgraded what Caloy Loyzaga started in Philippine basketball. Robert Jaworski helped make basketball the most loved sport in all of the country. His fame and following was insurmountable. When he steps inside the court, the crowd roars and frenzy can be seen in the whole arena, both from crowds of their team and even the opposing team's. His greatness is the most famous and most respected in all of Philippines sports. His fame led to his election as a senator and even after that, Jawo still is the best basketball player who gained such nationwide recognition.
