Persians are the most popular breed during the decades.

Persian cats are the most numerous group on the exhibitions and the constant leaders in every year rates of CFA ( American Association of Cat Lovers ), and they are the most famous and favourite in Europe.

Persians have calm and subdueing temper. Persian is the ideal breed, making an impression of affable, peaceful and loyal companion. His voice is rarely heard. Persians calmly and emphatically ask to pay your attention on them: they sit near you and stare into your eyes, where their devotion is reflected. They will certainly jump on your knees to nap, curled up on them, or tenderly touch your face with their wet nose. Some of Persians like to sit on their owner's shoulder and, hugging him, loud singing their song. At cold nights they can be your hot-water bottle in a bed.

It is very comfortable and pleasantly to keep Persians in the house. Persians create the atmosphere of rest, but in the same time they will accompany you from room to room for you to keep an eye on them only. They are playful and funny just as other cat breeds. But in contrast to other cats they are not afraid of children and never hurt even the most persistant infant.

When people choose a kitten they mostly want a pussy-cat, thinking that a girl will be more tender and full of love. To their mind tomcat is more agressive and has an inclination for sabotage. But such behaviour is not typical for Persian cats. Actually, Persian cat is more tender than a females. Pussy-cats are always independent and they are always busy with other things to communicate with the owner. Persian kittens are impressive, lazy, but for all that they are curious and cheerful. Adult Persian enjoys even to watch the fall of water drops from a tap or following the paper mouse what you draw for the thread.

Easy and sociable character of Persians in any age lets them live in harmony with every household and any domestic animals. Cats stay playful for a long time and bring to their owner a pleasure during many years. Amusing, funny, peaceful and tender Persian is the most ideal domestic animal. However, Persians require for everyday grooming to save their wonderful coat. For busy people, those who love sweet faces of Persians, but don't have time for everyday care, exotics are the real dream. They are true Persians with one exception: coat has fat, short, thick, chik texture. Exotic coat is unique in this breed and gives them soft, rounded, plush look. Their wonderful hair requires much less care then Persian's one and will never remind twisted yarn or valenki. Because of the simpliest grooming exotics are sometimes tenderly called 'Persian for lazy'.
