In the previous chapter we discussed the links between inspiration, motivation and creativity. Now lets add the momentum factor into our equation.

When our inspiration starts gaining momentum it all leads up to creativity or at least creativity will soon manifest itself. Inspiration linked with momentum is like riding a roller coaster, there are some ups and some downs, but it is going to be a rush. It can be the same way in the network marketing business when you are working to gain your residual income to fill your dreams. You too will experience some highs and lows.

Do you remember the old cartoon the Roadrunner with Wiley Coyote? He always had a bag full of tricks to get the roadrunner. Some were quite inventive or creative. You can see the train coming toward you at the other end of the tunnel, you feel like you’re tied to the tracks about to get run over by the train. Wiley Coyote has been working diligently to derail your success train. He has his ACME tool kit and everything is all set. Just as it looks like he is going to accomplish his goal the road runner jumps in and steals the show, saving the day.

Let your inspiration gain its momentum. Draw from it your creativity. During a recent coaching call with my mentor, and friend Dr. Ellie Drake she instructed me on efforts to capture, capitalize and expand on what I was doing. It is a formula worth following in all our activities.

First capture the attention of my potential clients and customers. Then capitalize on them either by what they are wishing to achieve, be, do, or have or by being of service to them and assist them in doing the same. If every one were to apply these techniques of capture, capitalize and expand with one another what kind of a business could you have? What type of relationships could we develop? What kind of lifestyle could you live and what could you give back to others in return?

Here is an example using the Wiley Coyote and the formula of capture, capitalize and expand.

1) Capture the audience – future network marketers, clients, customers

2) Capitalize – find out what they desire, is it to make money, work from home, and a residual income, improved health, learning to ride a horse, buy a house in the country, or helping their community? Use these in a positive way to assist them in obtaining these goals. Use your ACME tool kit to find out what they really dream of accomplishing.

3) Expand – creating a successful team of people working together gives expansion to you and to them. Use your capture and capitalize ability to expand on yourself. Show your team how to do the same. Coaching them to success. This is where you transform from Wiley to the roadrunner that was always successful.

I am not talking about being the hero of the day, but sharing your self, your inspiration, your motivation, your creativity and your momentum with others in order to improve the lives of everyone. Since we reap what we sow, it is a good idea to sow good seeds. Then we will be able to reap the rewards of the life we desire whether it be in the home based business industry or merely living in the country and enjoying our life while maintaining a healthy mind and body.

Goals will always be an inevitable powerful way to succeed in life. I mean, every success coach will tell you that.

But what prevents you from writing down your goals? Other people or yourself?

Most of the time, the voice that keep saying that you can't or that you don't deserve it is your own voice.

If it was only other people, you could remove yourself from these people. It would be pretty easy. The reality is that we talk to ourselves and most of this self-talk is negative.

I've found that for 90% of the cases, the following statement will be true: People don't write down their goals and dreams because either they think they don't deserve it or they think it's not possible for them or they think they are not capable of reaching that goal or dream.

My friends, it all comes down to one thing: do you believe in yourself? On a scale from 1 to ten, how much would you rate your level of self-esteem?

The level of your self-esteem will have an impact on the number of goals you write down, the number of goals you set and the number of goals you achieve.

1. I don't deserve it anyway! This has to do with you. This has to do with your feelings of self-worth. "Do I deserve it, do I have the permission to be a millionaire?" "Do I have permission to remain centered, instead of stressed and depressed" Feel these questions in your entire body. This is an essential step that your whole body and mind needs to accept and integrate.

2. I am not capable! This next part concerns your plan that you've outlined to achieve your goal. "Am I capable of taking appropriate action, following the different steps I've set up to succeed?" Once you've answered that question affirmatively, integrate this in your body and mind. You don't only need to know it cognitively but also emotionally. Your body is not just made up of a cognitive mind, but with emotions and feelings and the whole system needs to accept it.

3. It's not possible! Here we need to look at the path to reach your goal. "Am I convinced that it is possible to achieve my goal with these appropriate steps?" The path may be long or difficult. You need to build a strong belief that it is possible to follow the path that leads to great success. You need to persist and never give up, even when it becomes tough.

You need to literally transform these limiting beliefs and sure you can, because as they have been learned (through experiences, ideas…), they can be unlearned, restructured and changed.

There are three basic elements to reach your outcome: you, the plan or path, and the goal itself.

The belief you will develop for each element will form a winning belief system that will empower you in achieving anything you really want out of life.

These winning beliefs will give you more self-esteem and you will soon become unstoppable.

When we talk about the law of attraction, it all comes down to beliefs. When we talk about dreams, goals, independence, freedom, it all comes down to beliefs.

If you believe it is easy for you to realize your dreams, if you believe that you attract everything in your life for your best and highest good, if you believe that you have an unlimited potential, I mean, deep down, if you truly believe in yourself, there is nothing you can't do and you would set up goal after goal, achieving each one of them, or not, for your best and highest good.

How to Succeed in Life in this world

Ambitious people are always searching for ways to succeed in life yet the interesting thing is that the seven step secret that reveals how to succeed is contained within the word itself. Let me reveal it to you.

The "S" in succeed stands for setting a goal.

The first step in succeeding at anything is to have a target to aim for. If you have a definite, clearly defined goal and you know why you want that particular goal and how it is going to enhance your life then you have already started on your journey to a successful life.

The "U" in succeed stands for unshakable belief.

In order to achieve your goal you have to believe, at the emotional level, that you will get that goal no matter what obstacles stand in your way. If that belief is total and unwavering then it activates your subconscious mind to work with you in making your goal a reality.

The first "C" in succeed stands for commitment.

If you want to be certain of achieving your goal then it is important that you commit to doing whatever it takes to get there. Most people are half hearted when it comes to commitment. Then when they hit an obstacle or setback they have no fuel to push them through. The people who get their goals have a level of commitment that simply will not take no for an answer and therefore they have enough emotional fuel to blast through any obstacle or setback that comes their way.

The second "C" in succeed stands for creating an action plan.

Even if you don't have any idea how you are going to get your goal you should brainstorm an action plan. Be confident in the knowledge that if your belief and commitment are strong enough then your subconscious mind will help you in creating your action plan.

Your action plan won't be set in concrete. It is simply a starting point to get you moving. As you will see below you are able to modify this plan as necessary along the way.

The first "E" in succeed stands for executing your action plan.

Until you take action your success is just a theory. It is action that turns dreams into reality. Your action should be full on, totally committed, goal directed, daily action. Throw out all your excuses and procrastinations and get yourself into gear and moving.

The second "E" in succeed stands for evaluate.

Once you take action you will get some sort of outcome resulting from that action. The next step is to evaluate that outcome to see if it is taking you closer to your goal or not. Remember that the more action you have taken the more reliable your evaluation will be.

The "D" in succeed stand for decision.

Once you have evaluated your outcomes it is time to make a decision whether to continue taking action according to your current action plan or whether you need to modify your action plan. When I say modify your plan I don't mean for you to suspend your action and go back to the drawing board. You still need to be taking goal directed action each and every day. The modifications I am talking about are done on the go while you are moving. It is just like steering a car; you have to be moving in order for the steering to produce any worthwhile result.

Concluding Remarks.

So if you want to succeed in life remember that the seven step formula is contained within the word succeed.

Set a clearly defined goal.

Unshakable belief.

Commit to doing what ever it will take to achieve your goal.

Create an action plan.

Execute your action plan.

Evaluate your outcomes.

Decide whether to continue with or modify your action plan.

Today is a great day to start putting this formula into practice.

Nine Things To Let Your Light Shine In 2009

1. Make the decision and determination to do what it takes to let your light shine.
2. Do self-examination to see what you need to do. Ask yourself questions such as who am I really? What am I here to do? Am I satisfied with my work? Am I satisfied with my life the way it is? What do I need to change and how can I change these things? If you feel stuck while trying to answer these questions, seek divine intervention. That is always a sure way to get your questions answered. Self-examination will help you begin to think outside the box and have the freedom to allow transformation in different areas of your life. You might see some frightening things that you really need to change, but feel the fear and do it any way. Come up with a plan and set realistic and achievable goals. You can begin by writing down one or more things that you would like to accomplish in the next 30 days, for example; I wil lose 5 pounds. Or those you would like to accomplish in the next 90 days. You can set long term goals. Be mindful of the time you have set to complete your goals and work diligently to accomplish them within those time frames.
3. Embrace your passion; your desire; your purpose; your calling or your assignment; whatever you may call it. What is it that you love to do and would do even if you did not pay for doing it? If you can pin point this one thing and begin to take it seriously; to own it and act upon it, you would be surprised to see what happens and you will be well on your way to letting your light shine.
4. Change your way of thinking. Being aware of battles that go own in your mind and taking those thoughts captive is very important to your transformation. As you well know our minds can really trip us and if we are not careful or take it seriously you could spend a lot of time focusing on the wrong things, such as the unpleasant memories of your past. One of the first changes you must make is to take every thought captive, control your emotions and take authority over the battles of your mind.
5. Get out of the mind-set of thinking that you have to be an employee for the rest of your life. I know you may feel comfortable and secured in your job, as I did, but there are no guarantees, especially in these tough economic times when so many people are loosing their traditional jobs. There is a call for creativity. You must find your essence; your unique self and bring it to life so you can fulfill your destiny. Please don’t go to your grave without tapping into that power that lies within you, waiting to be exhaled. You can do it! I dare you!
6. Begin with the end in mind. To keep in mind you must write things down. When we try to commit things to memory we get distracted by all the things that we have to do in our busy lives and we soon lose our focus from the main thing.
7. Invest in yourself and your future and expect the unexpected. Know that nothing is free. Do your due diligence; find people who are skilled in the areas in which you are weak and pay them to do those things that are necessary to get you where you want to go. A coach or a mentor is a must. There is no Plan "B", so go ahead and execute Plan "A". Do your research and increase in knowledge and wisdom. The Internet is a wonderful tool; use it.
8. Focus your intentions on your goals and do not give up until you succeed. Just be aware that detractions, disappointments, trials and tribulations, stumbling blocks; you name them, they will come, but if you remain single - minded and focused nothing can stop you.
9. Get help. If you know you have been struggling with moving a head then find people who are doing what you would like to do, who are where you want to be or where you know you should be. Let them mastermind with you and assist you with strategies that you can implement as you attempt to move beyond the barriers that get in your way of succeeding and living life to the fullest. Apply these 9 steps and let your light shine in 2009.

Have you bloomed lately? Don’t wait until Spring to shed the comforter that keeps you asleep in the bud " quit waiting " start breaking ground. What’s the story you are waiting to be, the Super Power you have been hiding, the Seed you haven’t watered, the calls you failed to make, the person you forgot to tell them you love them. What is the next step you haven’t taken? Is there a Wild Flower in you waiting to Blossom.
"Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen." Michael Jordan.
Keeping a positive attitude is not always easy, especially when it seems that no one around you has a positive attitude. Have you ever listened to the people standing next to you in the check out line at the grocery store, the bank, a concert, football games, and parking lots? They are all complaining about something (the cost, line too slow, no parking spots, kids, spouse, economy, gas). They all know what they don’t want, but they are never sure what they do want.
How are you supposed to keep a smile on your face and a positive attitude when all the negative talk is happening around 24/7?
One of the keys to keeping a positive attitude is always remember your WHY. WHY did you start doing what you are doing, your job, marriage or business? If the reason you are doing these is strong, then you will be able to stay positive, because you know what you want the end to look like.
We are powerful. We are powerful, because our thoughts are powerful. Our thoughts are everything we see, hear, taste, touch and smell. Everything we do or ever will do " and thoughts manifest everything we have or will have on this plane of existence. Our thoughts create all of our results, positive, negative or boring.
If you do not know why you are doing something maybe you are doing it because your parents told to"they wanted you to become a doctor, dentist or work the family business. If you no longer have a passion to complete it, what do you do at that point?
I think the first thing you should ask yourself is " "Am I in a slump?" or "Am I in down time?" or "Have I lost my passion?" or "Did I never really find the passion for what I felt was my passion?" Maybe it was some one else’s passion or dream.
It maybe time for you to realize you really do not have a real passion to continue with for the rest of your life. It is time to set aside time for you to re-evaluate what your dreams are. Remember you have only one life to live, so what’s the point of living it doing things you hate or dislike.
You will be amazed how negative thoughts and attitudes can change into positive attitudes if you become clear on your "WHY".
Right at the present time I am enjoying a beautiful clear day in Williamsburg, VA. Five months ago I sold my house and started living my WHY. I plan to purchase an RV and travel and see the world. My income opportunity allows me to follow my dream. I am able to earn money anywhere, anytime, anyplace. I am helping people change their life styles by making their annual income their monthly income.

The Picture Board Strategy for Achieving Goals

The picture board strategy is a powerful psychological technique to help you achieve your goal in the time frame that you have set. I have used this strategy many times and have enjoyed 100% success with it. The strategy is simple and also fun. I'm sure you will enjoy it and reap the benefits.

Most people are aware that visualization is a powerful tool in achieving goals but visualization is not always easy to do. Even if you are good at visualizing what you want you may be distracted by the pressures of day to day life and forget to do your daily visualizing. The picture board strategy solves both of these problems.

There are several key elements in creating and using a picture board so that it produces the desired outcome; the achievement of your goal. Let's look at those key elements in some detail.

Key Element One is to Combine Key Phrases, Dates and Pictures.

A picture board consists of a large board of some kind onto which you have written key phrases and dates and then stuck pictures that illustrate those phrases. Let's look at an example of how to construct a picture board for a specific goal.

Let's imagine that you set a goal to have a 4 week holiday in Brazil twelve months from today. Let's also imagine that you want to fly business class, stay in 5 star resorts, have plenty of spending money and pay for the whole holiday in cash.

The first step would be to work out the places you want to visit while you are there and the resorts you want to stay at. Then collect brochures with pictures of those locations and resorts. You could also search the internet and magazines for pictures.

The next step is to get a large board of some kind and write the following phrases, in large letters, on different parts of the board; "our holiday in Brazil from (start date) to (end date) including the year", then write the names of each place you will go (spread around the board, and the name of the resorts you will stay in. Also write "we are flying business class with (whatever airline)" and "we have plenty of spending money to enjoy our holiday" and "we pay for the whole holiday in cash".

The next step is to cut out pictures that represent each of the above phrases. The more inspiring the pictures the better the results will be. The pictures should be big enough to easily see and recognize from the other side of a typical room in your house. Now attach the pictures under the appropriate phrases, the more pictures the better.

Key Element Two is to Place the Picture Board Where You Will See it Every Day.

The picture board is a form of subconscious programming. In order to work you have to see it often. Every time you see that picture board you are reinforcing that goal into your mind and programming yourself to achieve it. Sometimes you should consciously spend time in front of the board and other times you will be seeing the board subconsciously as you move about the house.

Key Element Three is to Move the Board Every Few Days.

We are constantly bombarded with visual input all day. One of the ways the brain screens out the unnecessary input is through a process called habituation. If you see the same thing, in the same place, over and over the brain will ignore it because it is not providing new information.

By regularly changing the location of your picture board you avoid the problem of habituation. Try putting it in the bedroom where you will see it when you first wake up. Then move it to the lounge room, then near where you eat your meals, and so on. Always place it in key positions where you will see it often.

Key Element Four is that you can have more than one board if you like but always for the same goal.

You can increase the effectiveness by having several different boards for your goal. They should have different pictures and the phrases should be in different locations on each board. Of course you still have to move each board around every few days.

Key Element Five. Picture boards work best on goals you are aiming to achieve in 12 months or less.

If you have a large long term goal that you want to picture board then you will need to break it into stages that can be achieved in less than 12 months each. Then create your picture board for the next stage only.

Try this picture board strategy. It is a lot of fun to put together and, if you stick to the key elements, it is incredibly powerful in bringing your goal into reality.

Goal Setting Tips: Seven Effective Methods To Achieve Your Goals

What is your goal in life? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Or has somebody ever caught you by surprise with it? Unfortunately, a lot of people today have lose the art of goal setting. They live out each day as it passes, with no definite finish line ahead.

Others have a vague idea of becoming successful in the future, but that’s about it. I’ve heard many people say that they want a house of their own. While such goals are inspiring to achieve, they’re too broad and are more likely to remain dreams than reality. What use is a goal when you‘re far likely from reaching it?

That is where effective tips for goal setting come in. These tips spell the difference between dreams and reality. If you’re ready to start checking off items from your goals list, read on!

1. Set achievable goals.

One of the most important tips for goal setting is to set achievable goals. Do not set a goal of earning a hundred thousand dollars by the end of the month if you’re barely making a thousand dollars monthly. Those kinds of “big jump” goals are bordering on wishful thinking and are a lot more difficult to realize.

Yes, it’s important to dream big and never let go of the ultimate prize; but you should do it gradually - to make it more believable and attainable.

Using the same example above, you could set up a goal of earning two thousand dollars by the end of the month. After you have achieved that aim, your next goal is to make three thousand dollars, and so on. Ultimately, you could reach the point where you could set a goal of earning a hundred thousand dollars by month end… but not until you’ve passed through several levels of escalating goals.

2. It’s all in the details.

The more detailed your goal is, the more effective it becomes. By being very specific and putting a lot of effort into creating a goal, you are already halfway done with the job. Your mind has already mapped out the outcome of your goal. That alone helps you a lot.

For example, instead of writing down that you want to have a nice job after graduation, write down that you want to become a member of your favorite magazine’s editorial team. It instructs your subconscious mind to focus on something more concrete, gives you something more to hope for, and energizes you to achieve your goal.

3. Allow for flexibility.

If there is really no way you can meet your goal, don’t stop yourself from tweaking it a bit.

If your goal is to move out of your parents’ home in two years, and you still haven’t been able to do it after all your efforts, you can always stretch that deadline for a few days, weeks, or months.

This allows you some leeway and still keeps you dedicated to moving into your own home one day. Don’t keep changing the deadline though, because then you’ll never be able to cross that item off your list.

Here’s the point I’m trying to emphasize: You should be dedicated to achieve any goal within a certain period, but you should never give up in case something went wrong. The important thing is that you did your best to achieve it, and that you’re flexible enough to know when you should alter your original plans.

4. Treat yourself after achieving every goal.

It’s important that you reward yourself for a job well done. If your goal is to finish writing that article, you can promise yourself a nice bowl of ice cream after as a treat.

This motivates you to do your best to achieve your goal. This reward system works quite well for goals that are a little less fun to fulfill.

5. Keep things positive.

When writing down your goals, try to keep your words as positive as possible. In fact, you can do this with tip number four. You can write down, “Pass the exam and go celebrate at the best restaurant in town.”

That’s definitely more effective than writing down, “Pass the exam or else mom will take the laptop away.”

6. Stay committed to your goals.

Don’t go about setting goals and then dropping them to the side once the going gets tough. Goals aren’t always easy to achieve. They may require time, hard work and even sacrifice.

If you’re scared of a little hard work, then you’ll only be setting yourself up for failure. Giving up on one goal too quickly also weakens your chance of completing even one goal on your list. Stay committed to your goal unless it’s more practical to change course.

7. Make sure your goals all agree.

Don’t set goals that might pose a conflict for another goal. A lot of people don’t really notice how contradicting some of their goals can be. Look at your goals list, read it more carefully, and take note of any goals that might hinder another goal’s success.

For example, your dream of becoming a champion sumo wrestler would offset a goal of having 6-pack abs. (Ok, this is extreme, but you get the drift.)

Goal setting need not be a waste of time. As long as you stay realistic, committed and positive, I see no reason why you can’t achieve your goals. So do things the right way and you won’t have to worry about setting yourself up for failure.

Do You Possess These three Components To Embrace Change?

When someone speaks of the “change” word, what are your first thoughts? Do you say or think “oh no!, not again”, or do view the change as an opportunity? To alter, or cause something to be different is what change is all about. Any thought, decision, or action around change can result in positive or negative implications in one’s life or business. We each are able to take steps to make our situation in life different than it is today – by our thoughts and simply by changing our thoughts. Three components each of us possess to embrace change are faith, choice and desire.

Faith – our belief or trust in what cannot be seen. For one to bring change to their situation, faith is the first component in the process. One must believe, without a doubt, they are able to impact and improve their situation. Even if your life situation feels unbearable and hopeless, having faith in a new type of life is the first step. Should doubt creep back into your mind, it will slow or stop the process, and you will remain in your current situation permanently or for a longer period of time. Daily affirmations, encouragement from others, and reading or listening to positive and uplifting materials assist in supporting the faith necessary to make a change.

Choice – the act of making a selection. We always have choices as we experience any opportunity or challenge. A positive approach to change will lead us to look for ways to make the most of the opportunity, or how to meet and surpass the challenge. We also can take the other approach and willingly let the opportunity slip away, or allow our challenges to overwhelm us. We can choose to make no choice and continue to do the same things we currently have being doing. This tends to generate results more closely to making the negative choice.

To make positive changes in one’s life, one must clearly identify and define what the desired change will mean to you – what it will look like and how you will feel experiencing the change. Once you have clearly defined the change in your mind, the next step is to choose to take the necessary actions to make the change. In doing so, one must embrace the process of making those changes and recognize the results most likely will not be immediate. Yet with consistent activity the small daily steps and actions we take over time will compound and create a different result in the future. As we encounter obstacles in attempting to create success, we understand they are just part of the journey on our way to success.

Desire – to deeply wish or long for. I added the word “deeply” to the definition of desire as a normal level of “desire” will not achieve success in the change process. One must have the level of desire that “at all costs and no matter the obstacles” this change will be accomplished. This persistence towards the desired outcome is the final step in making the changes and creating the desired success in your life.

Embracing change will lead us towards success in our ventures, achievement of our goals, and the ability to live a more purposeful life. But we must do something different - we must focus our thoughts, and take the necessary actions on a consistent basis until we have achieved the desired results. In our heart and mind, we must believe without a doubt we can change our situation. We agree to make the necessary choices to approach these changes, and to let nothing stand in our way. By embracing change we are on our way to creating a desired success or more purpose in our lives.

Our past lives can affect our lives in many ways. One reason we may want to experience past life regression is for the benefits of learning about things that have happened in the past. There are sometimes past problems that can have deep lasting effects on our present life. By working out the problems using past life regression, the changes can be an immense help.

The ability to access your past life is available to everyone. Many people believe that you have to go to someone to find out about past lives. The truth is you can do this for yourself. When you learn how to do this you will be able to explore your past in the privacy of your own home.

Usually an exercise that will get you ready to explore your past life will have to be practiced for a period of time. This will allow you to get the most out of your past life regression experience. Patience is one of the keys to learning how to do this as well as the desire.

You must relax your body and mind so that you are receptive to the past life experiences. Your whole focus should be on doing only this when starting. The more times you do this the deeper you will be able to go within yourself. This is the result that you want because this helps you to get the answers you need.

You may either lie down or sit - whichever is more comfortable for you. If you do sit up however, you must be comfortably seated and relaxed. The exercise to relax you has to be done in a totally quiet place and where no one will bother you. But remember to do so when you have had a good night's rest so you can stay awake.

Asking your spiritual guides or whatever you believe in to be with you while you are regressing is another aspect. Ask them to stay with you and protect you. You should not take this exercise past 45 minutes. The best way to remind yourself is to set the timer on your watch or a clock where it will help you to remember.

Choose a reason for regressing. It may be that you are searching for answers to certain questions. It could also be what you need to see or what you are here to accomplish. When doing this exercise, you must be totally relaxed so make sure every part of your body is in a relaxed state. The journey to your inner self will be your objective. Imagine a door at the bottom of a set of stairs. Once you have descended the stairs you can make a choice. You can sit and rest for a little while or go on through the door which is the door to your past lives. But you do not have to enter it yet. If you want to save this for another time, that is perfectly fine.

The important thing is that you have gotten to the door and once you go through you will be entering the world of your past lives. This is the whole basis for the exercise. Learning how to relax to get to the door is half the battle. Everything you find from now on will only help you to understand why you who you are.

There are many ways that people regress to their past but one thing to remember is that everyone is unique. The things you learn and the person you see as you will be helpful to you when it comes to learning how to handle your present life.

Although James Allen's book, "As a Man Thinketh" is probably the first classic on the topic of changing your thoughts to change your life, it really is a hard read. There's not really any practical advice in it to show you how to get what you want out of life.

On the other hand, "The Science of Getting Rich" is full of gems to help you understand how to achieve the life you want. When you understand these principles, you will take the right kind of action to achieve your dreams.

1. Getting rich is the result of following certain principles, nothing more.

Did you ever notice how the universe works on certain scientific principles? We can depend on the laws of physics. They work the same way every time. The principles behind getting rich and achieving the life you want work on certain scientific principles too.

These include knowing what you want (your dream), believing you can achieve your dream and then taking the appropriate actions to reach your dream.

2. God wants you to have abundance, not poverty.

I grew up in the Baptist church. Lots of hell fire and brimstone there. The problem is that those teachings are for non believers. Once you get saved, they no longer apply. If you think you have die first to be happy, then you need to read the Bible because that definitely isn't what it says.

When God created Adam and Eve, He put them in a beautiful garden. Everything was perfect. There was plenty of everything. Adam and Eve were going to live forever, and they would enjoy a face to face relationship with God. That hardly sounds like a god who wants you to be miserable.

3. There is more than enough for everyone.

There weren't as many people around when Wallace Wattles lived, but one thing hasn't changed: there's more than enough resources on Earth to support everyone. In fact, the Earth has the capacity to support around 50 - 60 billion people. Even if you add up all of the people who have ever lived, that's only a fraction of what the Earth can support.

That's why it's not necessary to compete with others to achieve what you want.

4. To achieve abundance, you must satisfy the mind, body, and soul.

Have you ever noticed how Hollywood stars seem to have everything, but they're miserable? In fact, a lot of people who have a lot of money are miserable. Have you ever wondered why?

It's because their lives are out of balance. Money will only satisfy the physical needs. It won't satisfy all of our other needs: health, relationships, the need to be loved. When you acquire monetary wealth, as well as enrich all of the other areas of your life, you will be happy. Understand that money is a tool to help achieve what you want in life. It isn't something to be worshipped or acquired to make us feel better about ourselves.

5. Success in life is becoming what you want to be.

This is the ultimate success. When you have the career you want, the type of relationships you want, the bank account you want, you are achieving in the physical what you want to be. Success in life is far more though. It's a satisfaction of knowing you have achieved your full potential.

Let me caution you though, don't wait until you have achieved everything you want before you allow yourself to enjoy your life. Enjoy it now. Most of the things we want in life we probably already have and just take for granted.

Ultimately, having the life you want is about hope. As Wallace Wattles says, "The world is not going to the devil; it is going to God. It is wonderful Becoming."

It's all about going for it, having the faith to believe and then the willingness to do what it takes to make our dreams become real.
