Have you started building your list? I bet you have already started working on this important process. Yes your list will be your most valuable asset when you are working as an affiliate marketer. You can pre-sell the products in the messages you send to your subscribers. As a matter of fact, it is one of the most efficient ways to promote your affiliate products. However, do you know how you can grow your list?

You will certainly put a subscription box in your website. It is true that it is very important to do so. You will put the subscription box in your affiliate site and wait for people to subscribe.

Yet do you think you can get visitors to sign up by just putting a subscription box in the site? Absolutely not! Will you be willing to give your email address to someone without any reason? The answer is a NO right? And you should not expect people will just subscribe to your site without any reason.

As a result, you should give your visitors a reason why they should subscribe. To this end you may need to give them some incentives in order to encourage them to subscribe. One of the ways is to give out some free stuff to your visitors. You can create a small e-book to this end.

You will only let the visitors download the e-book after they have signed up. This will give the visitors a good reason to subscribe to your list. They want to get the free stuff you offer them and as a result they need to give you their email addresses in return.

The simplest way to do the above is to redirect your visitors to the download page after they have fill in and submit the information. However, you will not be able to confirm if the address a particular visitor sends you is a valid one. As a consequence, you will not just redirect your visitors to the download page. Instead you will send the url of the download page to the visitors via emails. By using this method, you will be able to make sure that the email addresses you collect are valid. They will not be able to get your free e-book if they do not give you valid email addresses.

If you can use the above methods, you will be able to grow your list steadily!
