Domain Name Registration in Latin America – June 30, 2009.
Today there are more than 4.5 millions of registered Domains Names.
From last month, there is a growth of 1.64%
During this year there has been a 10% of growth.
The leaders of this annual growth are ccTLD .br, ccTLD .ar, ccTLD .ve and ccTLD .mx.
During June, the ccTLDs showing more percentual growth were ccTLD .ec (7.50%), ccTLD .mx (4.11%) and ccTLD .py (2.69%).
The explanation for the growth of ccTLD .EC is because of a price promotion and regarding ccTLD .MX is because of the opening of the second level.
The major growing’s in absolute values last month are ccTLD .br (30263), ccTLD .ar (21892), ccTLD .mx (12663) and ccTLD .cl (3159).
