Treating The Antidepressant Discontinuation Syndrome

Treating the antidepressant discontinuation syndrome
If an individual has stopped his consumption without consulting it to the doctor then he can again start his consumption by following a regular schedule. In case if the person has stopped taking his medicine due to any purpose than he has to first consult his doctor for such reason. Prior stopping of consumption the person should take fewer medicines until he finally quits. He may also take the doctors advice for increasing the dose or the course.
Caution
For preventing the antidepressant discontinuation syndrome an individual is recommended to follow the guidelines and principles that are advised by the doctor. If the person wants to discontinue with the consumption of the medicine he has to first talk to his doctor. Hence, avoiding the use does not indicate that an individual is addicted to his medicine.
One has to take the antidepressants to relieve one's depression. If it does not show their effect immediately one has to wait for a period of one to three months to feel its effect.
