If the person wants to discontinue with the consumption of the medicine he has to first talk to his doctor. Hence, avoiding the use does not indicate that an individual is addicted to his medicine.

One has to take the antidepressants to relieve one's depression. If it does not show their effect immediately one has to wait for a period of one to three months to feel its effect.
