But these symptoms are short termed and if they persist for a longer time, it is advisable to look for doctor's help. This vegetarian detox diet may lack certain nutrients that you generally get from animal food products. Hence it is wise to be on a detox diet for a smaller period of time as it may lead to nutrient shortages like protein and calcium in the longer run.
