How To Bathe A Baby Safely And Keep Your Baby Happy At The Same Time

When you have a baby you are very gentle with him or her because they are so fragile. When you give them a bath, you only need a little water in the baby tub. You have to watch the water so it does not get near their mouth or their nose. You need to watch the way you pick them up out of the water, and you need to hold them up in the water. Babies love water because they can splash it, play in it, and learn how to swim when they get a little bit older.

When you put a baby in a tub of water, you only use a little bit of water to wash them off. You don't want to scare them. When you pour water on their head, use a sponge or a little rag and wipe the shampoo out of their hair so it doesn't get in their eyes or ears. Also, make sure that you don't get water in their mouth or their nose because they can get it in their lungs. But don't worry if the shampoo gets in their eyes because it will not burn them. It is safe. Did you know that a baby can drown in the smallest amount of water? It is true because the water can get inside their lungs, and then they can't breathe. It is scary.

When you pick them up out of the water, be careful because they are slippery due to the body wash and the water. It's like a coat of wax on them. You have to hold them up so they don't fall down and hit the tub or land face first in the water. They can be shocked by the water. Babies look up to you for protection and love so show them that you care for them and watch them very closely.

Babies love to play in the water, it is so fun to splash the water around and splash it at you. It makes them happy, and they will smile so big for you. They like boats, animals, planes, cars and cups. You can see them do new things every time they are in the water. They play with them above the water and under the water. They think it is a new world under there. They like to chew on all sorts of things. Just watch them when they do that. Take care of your baby, and keep it happy forever.
