The backend system of the thesis theme is rock solid and will help your site rank on search engines. The fact is that when a person looks up something on a search engine, the search engine looks for the html codes of various websites and places the one with the least errors right on top. This is called indexing. Indexing helps promote your website. This feature in word press is called search engine optimization (SEO). Word press boasts of the best SEO in business.

Thesis has so many features that it may just be difficult to put ink to paper about them but the complete package is simply outstanding. It doesn't really matter what kind of site you are trying to build, thesis word press is the ideal base for every kind of website. Its features included adding pictures, videos in transitional moves so the site looks extremely attractive. you can just about do anything with all the fonts, styles and colors.

The best part is that if you already have made a blog with word press and want to redesign it, you don't have to worry about the code getting messed up and you having to work on it again. This is what Thesis does, it takes the code and keeps it separately so if you have to redesign your website, you don't have to worry about working on your code and search ranking again! That part of it remains untouched.

If you want to get your hands on the package you must first consider how many websites do you have to your name and how many websites do you have to work on. You would do this because there are two types of licences that you can acquire.

One is for a single website and one for multiple websites. Think carefully before going for these options. the other options that you can include in your word press are that you have the ability to link your main site with affiliate sites, you can pick and choose which pages you want to put on display and which you don't want either than letting you display all the random pages, you have the option to check or uncheck several boxes that have various options for you and as mentioned earlier you can rotate between pictures and videos.

Thesis Theme has a great after sales support. They offer a whole range of support to those who need it. This is a very positive aspect that draws people to use their theme.

I am certain you have heard the online marketing Super Quote 'The money is in the list'. I can guarantee you there is no greater method that will bring you greater success online than this method.

For those of you who have not heard of this quote before, I will give you the basic outline for what is involved in starting an autoresponder email service yourself.

1. You sign up to an autoresponder service. A large proportion of these services are free. But each service differs in the services that they provide. For example, the format that is available for sending your autoresponder messages in e.g., text or html format.

The choice in providers of autoresponder services is up to you. I won't give you any biased links here, but please do the research and make a decision, decided around the ideas and/or requirements you want to create in this exact task.

2. Set up your autoresponder messages in a sequence that you want your prospects to receive them. (A more detailed mention shortly about this important task.)

3. Cut and paste your html code etc, provided by your autoresponder service. So that your prospects can sign-up to your email list from your website.

This is a basic 3 step process which gives you an outline of just how simple this set-up process is.

The real skill, mentioned in step 2 above, although not difficult, is in writing the autoresponder messages you are going to send to your signed-up prospects. There is a need for a real structure and purpose in the way you attempt this task. And I will tell you how right now! So lets begin.

We all from an early age have been trained as consumers. From the first moment for example, we saw our first 30 seconds of television, we were instantly introduced to the wonderful world of both 'Direct and Indirect Advertising'. Both these words direct and indirect are very important when it comes to online marketing. In my opinion direct advertising does not work online at first, and should not be attempted until later. This direct advertising may have worked online initially in the past, but thanks to such online issues as spam, this method is not effective at all in the beginning. Indirect advertising however is what should be used, and this provides a 'Conditioning' phase for your potential buyers who have newly signed-up to your autoresponder list.

When targeted potential customers visit your website for the first time, they arrive because they are searching for specific information. And secondly, they may choose to purchase an item or service from your website, as a pure result of the information you are providing, in order to complete or complement the provided information contained on your website.

The structure of the information you provide in your autoresponder messages should therefore follow this same 'Cause & Effect'
structure. Simply put, you are providing information that will complete or complement a product or service you are promoting indirectly. In online marketing you will hear the word 'Pre-selling' mentioned a lot, and this is what pre-selling is, a simple providing for a cause and effect event.

I must mention the word 'Trust' at this point, because it is an absolute needed commodity on the internet, and leads into the whole concept and purpose of 'Branding'. We have all heard of the bad things that can happen online with credit card fraud etc, its a long list. And it is absolutely 100% certain that your potential customers have also heard of these facts. So you should be aware that every person who visits your website for the first time is already on the back foot. So it is your job to build a potential customers trust in your website, so that when they may visit your website again, they have a feeling of complete ease. And let me assure you this trust does need to be earned on your behalf and you should be aware of this always. I will add at this point the statement, 'If you are not serious about the product or service you are promoting then just don't bother doing it in the first place'.

If you are not committed, you as a result, have no set purpose for what you are trying to achieve. If your customers suffer your website will suffer. So how do we build 'Trust'?

Branding is a tool by which we associate trust. Think of a brand name product. Ask yourself the question how do you feel about that product? Do you feel at ease buying that product? If the answer is yes, then it is for the reason that you know and trust that product.

Why? Because you know when you buy it, you know exactly what to expect. If you answer no, it would be mainly for the reason that the product is unreliable, because you are not sure about what to expect. This idea of branding is essential in your autoresponder messages, because you have the task to condition your potential customers to positively associate your website, business name or logo etc, to what they should positively expect from your website and its products.

(Note: If a customer or website visitor sends you a question etc, you should always respond ASAP. If there is a problem work out a solution ASAP. Treat your customers etc, the exact way you want to be treated yourself. This note is absolutely essential, if you want to retain your brand image)

So how do I use all this information in my own autoresponder messages? Good question, so lets answer it! What I have discovered that works effectively, lies in the exact structure of your autoresponder emails.

1. Introduce yourself, both personally and the website ideas you represent.

2. Send your subscribers only value information which helps their own website or internet purpose. These emails need to be set-up in an autoresponder process multiple times. Over time through this strategy, you are making your subscribers feel completely at ease.
By constructing informal high value informational autoresponder messages, you are indirectly consistantly associating your 'Brand Name' with a feeling of 'Ease' and 'Trust'.

3. Once you have established point 2 effectively. You can begin to indirectly pre-sell different products. Why? Because your subscriber is now at ease and your subscriber trusts exactly what you are saying, because you have conditioned this behavior. Value informal information supplied at first simply lets a potential customer associate your brand with exactly what it represents.

4. After a set period of time you can at this point 'Direct Sell' a customer, because they absolutely know your brand and trust your purpose. And if you have been effective from points 1 through 3 your strategy will have a maximum effect in sales.

The big players online have email lists that consist of up-to and over 300,000 subscribers. How did they achieve these numbers of subscribers?

Subscriber lists can be gained from numerous traffic means. Search engines, PPC, e-Book links, forming joint ventures, word of mouth, this list can just go on and on. But no matter what means you use in gaining traffic to your website, a very large proportion of website visitors will be untargeted. In that they will have little interest in what your website provides, they are just simply surfing the net and/or do not know what they are looking for. This is wasted traffic and a pure waste of potential customers, but only if you are not aware of this. So it is essential, I have found to position your autoresponder subscribe box on multiple website pages, and I try to use a (1) x (2) format.

(1) Is the question that I pose to my targeted traffic so that they may sign-up for further information. And (2) are the 2 seperate questions that I pose that are open and appeal to a larger audience.

For example: (1) Learn exact answers to effective affiliate marketing methods by subscribing here. (2) Making an income online is easier than you imagine when you gain these skills. (2) Free - This is your complete guide to show you how to create a real online income stream.

This is only a general example guide, but gives you an exact idea of my own 1 x 2 strategy. It is open in its format, and just does not only appeal to your target audience who may just be interested in affiliate marketing. But is also open to untargeted traffic who may have never even considered the idea of being able to make money online.

Tip: Free Manual traffic surfing sites are ignored by most as a source of website traffic of any value, and so they should be if they are not approached with purpose. But they can be a real source of potential subscribers. Build yourself a webpage containing your subscriber box and write content within the page that appeals to all who may read it. Use this page as you would with your first autoresponder message. Introduce yourself and your website purpose.
I myself have built a very large responsive email list using this exact strategy.

*The Absolute Ultimate Autoresponder Tip: Provide your autoresponder messages with a link where potential customers can simply download your messages in a pdf format. Why?

1. This gives your sign-ups the opportunity to gain an online solid product that they download to their own computers desktop. Your pdf document may even remain on their desktop for quite a while. PDF is harder to discard, you have to manually move it to your trash can.
Plain Email messages are just read once and are very easily discarded as you know.

2. You can give your potential customers the opportunity to use your pdf documents in there own autoresponder messages or on their own websites. Thus you have created an effective form of viral marketing, simply because you should have at least your website address embedded in the pdf document. There are many ideas in the ways you can use pdf format. I am certain you will come up with hundreds of new ideas in the way you can use effectively this exact method.

I hope that the information provided in this not so quite short article is of a real value in your own internet marketing efforts.
Selling online in all forms, is a task that requires an immense ongoing knowledge and effort if you plan to be really successful, but this task should always remain fun, this is exactly how I treat it. Internet marketing as a general topic has so much value information readily available, and I challenge you at this point to go and seek it out. Try differnet ideas and methods, try completely new ideas of your own. Find that system that simply works well for you and expand on it. Remember always, there are no limits in your life or online, only the limits you place upon yourself. So go, seek and succeed.

The power of transformation and life's stumbling blocks

When He gives us instructions that we are not comfortable, that takes us out of our comfort zones, that crushes our egos and flesh; they are always for our good: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

It is common to find ourselves in situations where we are faced with stumbling blocks such as; spouses, children, supervisors, car, ignorance, doubt, being out of touch with reality, being un-teachable, blaming others, worry, self-pity, selfishness, excuses, giving in to others and not finding the truth for ourselves, procrastination, laziness, denial, rejection, fear, trials, tribulations, excuses and other enemy.

Stumbling blocks often make us feel as if we have no sense of direction; there is no real stability, there is lack of control, and no authentic sense of worth. There is no satisfying accomplishment, because something has gotten in our way.

One of the reasons we fail to understand or accept stumbling blocks as a necessary part of life is that we do not put complete trust in the Lord. When we do not wait on God and we go ahead and make our own plans, God has to make us stumble over our own mistakes. But He does not leave us there. He often gives us many chances to correct them and move ahead.

When you recognize stumbling blocks in your life, do not push them to the side. Acknowledge that they are there and know that some need to stay. This awareness will allow you to face them as they are, let go of those that need to be let go and wait on God’s timing with those seemingly difficult ones that you can not handle.

Have you ever been late in going somewhere and you run into a car wreck and you utter a sigh of relief because you know that had you been earlier you could have been in that accident? Many times we do not immediately understand life’s stumbling blocks until later when we look back at events.

God often uses the strangest or simplest thing to protect us and to get his will accomplished. For example, sometimes we may have an appointment to get to and we go to our car and it has a flat tire or we can not find our key.

We get upset, but that could be God’s way of preventing us from getting in an automobile accident that day. I have been in a similar situation where for some unforseen reason I do not leave home at the time I had planned to and when I get on the freeway I find that there has been a accident.

Remember that stumbling blocks will always be there, but you do not need to worry about them because they are there for a purpose. When you understand how to recognize and deal with the more common stumbling blocks mentioned above, then you can begin to dream big, move from a place of stagnation and mediocrity to anticipate much growth, success and to expect the unexpected.

You are a powerful individual, you are a conqueror, an over-comer, and you have great potentials

Web Design & SEO: The Eternal Debate

Web design focuses on appearance and aesthetics. SEO focuses on text quality and quantity. Web designers don't really like to clutter their designs with text. They prefer to see the images stand out on their own. SEOs on the other hand don't like images that much. Sure, an image can be optimized for the search engines by adding relevant alt attributes and titles, but this is not enough for a site to be properly optimized. Page copy still plays the most important role in website optimization for SEO.

As a business owner you are caught in the middle of this conflict. For your website to convert you need both design and optimization. There is no middle way. You cannot have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and still be competitive. You cannot have just one of the two either. Without optimization your site is invisible to the search engines, hence to your potential customers. On the other hand, without a good design your site, although not invisible, will get nothing but hits. Web users are picky and if they find nothing of interest on your site they will just surf to the next site.

Having a beautiful website no one can find is like having a store and keeping the doors locked. You know it is there, you've done a great job decorating it, the products are waiting for the customers, yet no one comes in.

When you pay for web design don't automatically assume that by paying thousands of dollars on a layout you'll be a hit on the Web. The Web is a highly competitive place. There are already thousands entrepreneurs who, just like you, invest in design and hope to become the new "it." Without online marketing (SEO being an important part of the discipline) all these entrepreneurs will remain in the shadow, with their beautiful websites closed to the world.

SEO is the key to that virtual door you need to open for your customers. It is important that you consider this tool when you first conceive your site. Web design and SEO don't need to be enemies. There are enough professional agencies that employ both web designers and SEOs who work together to develop a good business website, a site that is SEO ready, accessible and readable with any browser. You just need to take your time, research and send a few inquiries. Then choose the company that answers your questions in a timely manner, basically choose the company that proves a clear ability of designing with W3C standards and a clear understanding of the online trends and realities.

Then balancing content with visual appearance shouldn't be such a difficult task. Aside graphics and artwork you have to choose proper font types, in a readable size, with colors that harmonize with the layout of the site and so on. If your site is not SEO ready from the first stage of the project you'll face additional costs after you launch. SEO ready means a site that is properly coded (errors in the HTML code might stop some search bots from crawling and indexing your site correctly), with good navigability and good internal linking structure.

On the other hand, SEO and appearance are not the only traits of a good site. Brand conscious companies should look at the broader picture: instead of debating what is better online entrepreneurs should ask themselves what works best to convert visitors into clients.

Studies show that an over optimized page might hurt the user-experience of people with disabilities. For example, many SEOs stuff the image alt attributes and their alternative titles with keywords. Blind and other visually impaired people who use screen readers to access the Web and read the pages cannot see the images and, instead of listening to a relevant image description, they'll hear... nonsense.

Usability and accessibility are equally important as design and optimization. Strangely enough images are better for usability. They give focus to the design and when properly optimized they provide for less cluttered website content. The problems appear when the images slow down the loading times, but with the use of CSS loading times should not be a big concern.

As search engines prefer fast loading sites it is easy top understand why good coding and optimization are so important. Poor coding raises many other problems aside loading times and might increase costs when you need website updates, especially when your website administrator is not the one who created your site.

Building an accessible compact form using javascript

Forms are a very common way of interacting on the Internet and you can see them used everywhere - to collect comments, for registering products, even for navigation. The problem is that sometimes we don't use things in the way they were intended and when we 'stray' from the ideal state, problems crop up. We as webmasters can't always identify accessibility problems when we code, but people who use screen-readers or other assistive technologies can. Here are some guidelines for you to use to code accessible forms.

Screen-readers are really buggy in their implementation of javascript so leave it out or make sure it doesn't interfere with the normal operation of filling out and submitting a form (as I have done below). Definitely don't use scripted form controls to change the page. Forms weren't designed to be used as navigation anyway - there are better ways to build a nav.

Lets look at some important form elements that sometimes get forgotten but should always be included.

The legend tag can hold important information about your form and should always be used to describe the intention of your form.

If you have several distinct areas or groups of form fields fieldsets can come in very handy. I can think of several examples of information grouping in forms but consider this one - billing address, shipping address, credit card information. These three distinct groups of information can be organized and displayed using fieldsets. Each fieldset can have its own legend and the legends should be those three group descriptors.

The label tag is a very important little tag. The label tag wraps around input descriptors such as 'first name:' or 'last name:' and is associated to a form element in your markup using the 'for=' attribute. A label should always be in very close proximity to its associated input for clarity. Remember: you can style a label just like any other element using CSS.

Sometimes using a table to layout a form can cause an interruption in the natural flow of label / input pairs. Just be sure to remember that being overly creative with your form layout is not a very good idea. Try to stick to the usual way and keep those labels close to their form fields.

Taking a few moments to think about your coding goals before you start can prevent accessibility issues. Following the guidelines set out by the W3C for standards in coding will usually eliminate problems. Standards compliant code will generally be better optimized for search engines and screen-readers alike.

Part II

Let's build an accessible compact form using javascript

So now that you know a little bit about web accessibility and forms, we can put it into place by building an accessible compact form. What's a compact form you say? A compact form is a form that takes up less space. It looks like you have entered the name of the field (eg.first name:) as a value in the input, but really it is a label hovering there. When the user clicks to input their data (gives the form element 'focus'), the label is swooshed off the screen, and when they click away from the input (removes 'focus' and is called 'blur') the script checks to see if data has been entered or not, and replaces the label or leaves it off-screen depending on what it found.

Using Javascript for extra presentation is quite popular these days but here is the caution: always make sure that you can use your web page with javascript turned off. The firefox developer toolbar that I told you about last month is excellent for this kind of test.

I have thoroughly commented the javascript in the working example and hopefully that will help you to understand what I have done. The general idea? - I am using javascript to change the class name on the labels of the form. There are three classes:

regLabel - how it will display without javascript enabled

compactLabel - the label appears over the form field

compactLabelShift - having moved the label off to the side so it is no longer visible

There is another possible state to consider that covers the situation where both javascript and css are disabled. This view relies on pure markup and as you can see the form is still highly usable and easy to tab through.

An Intro to Using Auto-Responders Email Smiles

When you walk into a department store and all the sales assistants are smiling, it creates a sense of camaraderie that makes you want to return. Personalized attention is the best marketing strategy for improving sales. Everyone likes to feel important and they also like knowing their business is appreciated.

It takes more creativity to generate these kinds of feelings online. Computers and websites can be very impersonal. Auto-responders were developed to help you make sure that your website customer knows how much you appreciate their business. They replace the smiles you would give them on a one-to-one basis.

Grinning With Success

Customers can be very demanding. They don't like waiting and they want to know their order is being processed quickly. It is just a fact of life in the marketplace. If you own an online business or have a business where customers can contact you via email then you probably know how quickly your inbox can fill up with customer emails.

You can pay someone to answer all the emails, but that may not be cost effective. Auto-responders are software programs that will automatically respond to emails with no intervention by you. When someone sends you an email or orders a product from your website, the auto-responder immediately sends a message of acknowledgment.

This assures the customer that he or she is not lost in cyberspace. The customer is smiling with satisfaction and you are grinning with success.

Auto-responders are used as web-based and non web-based programs. The web-based programs run on the server and usually have a specialized script written by the company. Auto-responders attached to email programs usually have programmed pre-set responses to choose among.

The auto-responder has an actual email address. It responds to the customer and gives the customer a way to answer with questions or concerns. But auto-responders are used in a variety of ways to build business.

- Can send auto-responder emails at predetermined times to maintain contact with the customer

- Used as a way to distribute newsletters and articles to current and potential customers

- Creates mailing lists of email addresses

- Broadcasts advertisements, sales events and special discount opportunities

- Distributes new product information

- Offer topical courses that are split up over several lessons encouraging repeated customer contact

- Send reminders

- Send trial versions of a service you sell

- Use to transmit links that the customer can access and that lead to your website

- Email testimonials about products or services

Auto-responders are used to keep existing customers and generate new business. They are marketing and time management tools. They are also cost effective.

Beaming With Pride

Choosing the right auto-responder depends upon your particular circumstances.

- Budget Limitations

- Desire to prevent spam emails being sent from your automated email address collection

- Need for multiple email responses

There are simple and free programs available online, but their capabilities are limited. If you can afford it, the best option is a web-based auto-responder program that offers a large amount of flexibility.

In between the free and web-based programs are stand-alone programs you run with your email program. Whatever program you choose, auto-responders will help you create a customer friendly business whether it is online or not. They are a way to show your customers you and your company strongly value customer relations.

Auto-responders are technology that can also create an opt-in customer base. An opt-in is when a potential customer responds to a pop-up or online form and requests to be added to your customer email list. The uses of auto-responders are unlimited. Anyone who needs to develop a satisfied customer bases should be using auto-responders.

The whole world has moved from the printed page to a page suspended in cyberspace. Websites are the rage in every sphere of life.
For the creation of a website, you have two options: you can either recruit a professional to design the site or you could gather up courage and add a dash of personal creativity to design your own site.
To execute a Website design, one would need basic tools like a computer, an internet connection, web page construction tools such as HTML editor, and a host on the World Wide Web to publish your page.
There are three keys to a website: clear goals, design, and content. The website must serve its purpose and aid personal development, or fulfill business, social, cultural, humanitarian, or business objectives.
Define clearly what the purpose of the website is, how many pages the site will have, what kind of content will it provide, how many pictures and advertisements it will include, and will it have e-commerce of any kind? for visit to :-www.google-friendly-page.com What kind of investment will it involve? Is the site for personal satisfaction or does it have a business angle?
While designing a website you need to keep in mind a few simple ground rules. Ensure that the resolutions of the web pages are either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768, the lowest being 640 x 480. Keep in mind the convenience of the user. The page size should not require horizontal scrolling or “page down” for more than three screens. In fact, modern design demands that each page should be within one screen, as anything more means you lose viewers unless, the content grips attention.
The layout must be user-friendly and have spaces, no crowding, easily readable type, and images that are not fussy, garish, or blinking. To prevent delays in page loading, a page must not exceed 50K. A balance between text and images must be maintained, and no image should be too heavy. Even if flash is in vogue, you must also use HTML so that non-techies can make use of the site.
Choose a reliable web host, ensure that the specifications of the web server can support the bandwidth you need, more visit for :-www.javascript-magic.com and use an operating system that is universally used. Test the pages to see that they open in Windows as well as Mac.
At all costs, avoid blinking text, animated GIF s, or loud sound, anything that is fussy and distracting. Think about users with slow internet connections or old computers. To be successful and invite visitors time and again a website must be interesting, useful, and user-friendly.

You may have the best product in the world and the website may have very good SEO, but a bad looking poorly designed website will mean you won't maximize your sites potential. This article will give you one way to make your website more human-friendly.
It is important for your website to use a small collection of colours and be easy on the eye so the user doesn't have to strain when looking at the screen. for visit to:-www.automatic-content.com Another important part of your design to compliment this is to give your website a face, by this it simply means a picture of a human, even if its only small.
Computers are a bit like robots which means if we spend a long time on them without seeing face we can begin to feel a bit of key - just think about how you feel after you've typed an essay for hours onto your computer. The same is true for when surfing the web, if all websites were just writing and colours then we wouldn't spend half as long as we do online. The simple fact is that we like to see and interact with others humans, its natural and is just built into us, you don't realize it but its just the way it is.
The idea when designing your website is to work with this fact I.E include photos of people on your pages. This will mean the website feels more real, and not just a robot that you are working with, generally this means the user will sub-consciously enjoy being on the site more than if there wasn't a friendly face.
So, how is it best to give your design a human feel.
Although we like to see other faces this doesn't mean you should just put random faces across your website, but you should integrate relevant pictures whenever possible. Putting a smiling pretty face on your contact page is always a start, this makes it feel like they are actually contacting a person instead of just sending an e-mail into cyberspace. If you sell laptops you may want to have a picture of a smiling smart person using a laptop, preferably a small picture on every page (above your navigation bar or somewhere like that). more visit to;-www.google-friendly-page.com
Its also good to have a picture of a group of people on your testimonial page, so users are able to put testimonials with real people giving it more of a natural human communication feel.
Every website owner has the ability to put pictures onto their web pages. Every website gets used by humans so should have photos of humans on them. The fact is that humans like to interact with humans, so put pictures onto your website like explained above and you may find your site has more of a 'real' feeling and visitors will stay just that little bit longer.
