Unemployment ratio is increasing day by day in every country but there are countries where they have stabilized their unemployment rate. Let us discuss about the UK Job market in this recession. There is pool of new talents in the UK job market due to increase in the colleges, universities in the UK. Every year thousands of people are graduating from colleges and many medium-sizes, small-sizes and the large scale of industries are benefited due to that, they are getting young and talented people in their organization. Many professional, consultants, companies benefited out of that. There is a huge demand for the professional for different sectors like economist, finance professional, human resources, sales and marketing, SAP consultants, IT professionals etc. There are corporate who especially looks for the candidates with this specialization or with dual-specialization.

There are many corporate who are associated with the placement consultants for having a qualified professional and if any placement consultancies fulfill their requirement so either they get commission   or some percentage from the annual salary of the candidate according to their terms and conditions with the companies. Basically companies look for the specific skills in the candidates like creativity, leadership quality, convincing power, attitude and obviously the qualifications.

There is a huge demand for the sales and the marketing people in the UK job market because this is the time where people are not investing their money on anything especially in the real estate and in the automobile industries. So they need a professional who can convince and sell people for their products. Mostly all companies are following the traditional way of selling their product so they need candidates who are innovative use different skills and methods to attract customers. That’s why company provides training to the candidates about their products and services and if they are hiring from recruitment agencies or from the good consultants they take responsibilities to train the candidates before they place any candidates to their clients.

Many firms has declined their permanent staff and focusing more on hiring temporary employees. This we have observed mostly on every sectors but the only sector to avoid the downturn was nursing and medical care.

In short we can say that the UK job market offers great working opportunities. Its flexible labor market has produced a healthy employment market in recent years, with unemployment mostly below 5%, which compares well to other EU countries.
